Canada’s LTA (legs, trunk, arms) mixed coxed four team rowed their way to a gold medal finish at the World Rowing Cup III event in Poznan, Poland.
The LTAMix4+ team have had a few top-notch finishes over the past couple of seasons. In addition to the recent gold medal, the boat earned Canada a spot in Rio when they finished third at the 2015 World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette, France.
While the athletes who will be representing Canada at the Paralympics have not officially been announced, the five world cup champions have put themselves in great position to represent their country on the grand stage.

Kristen Kit – University of British Columbia and California Rowing Club – St. Catharines, Ont.
Rowing Canada Aviron and the Canadian Paralympic Committee will officially announce the athletes going to the Paralympic Games at the end of July.
