Episode #3: Road to Rio Podcast, feat. Miranda Biletski

On Episode 3 of the Road to Rio Podcast, we chat with Miranda Biletski of Canada’s Wheelchair Rugby team. Biletski and the rest of the national team are looking to improve on the silver medal they finished with at the London 2012 Games.

This will be the first Paralympics of Biletski’s career and she has a chance to become the first woman in the history of the games to win a wheelchair rugby gold medal.

We spoke to her about expectations in the locker room, the quest for a gold medal, and about media coverage for Paralympic athletes.

Head Coach Kevin Orr also offered some insight on how Biletski’s game has come along and her contributions to Team Canada.
